Mas de Daumas Gassac 2007 Magnum
Mas de Daumas Gassac Rouge 2007 Magnum, grown on the Languedoc’s limestone soils, is a blend led by Cabernet Sauvignon (71%). Oak-aged, it combines precise tannins, lively freshness and chalky minerality. Ideal through 2030, it pairs beautifully with game and aged cheeses.

A family estate rooted in the Aniane valley, where the Guiberts’ bold vision elevated the Languedoc to the ranks of the great wine regions.
- Terroir: Rooted in Aniane in the Languedoc, within the IGP Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert Cité d’Aniane—a setting of complex soils from which the vines draw their character.
- Winemaking: An artisanal approach combining slow extraction, extended maceration and oak-barrel aging produces age-worthy wines with a firm structure.

Tasting notes for Mas de Daumas Gassac Rouge 2007 Magnum
Appearance – deep red with garnet highlights and a silky depth that hints at the vintage’s concentration.
On the nose – wild blackberry and ripe blackcurrant aromas, lifted by licorice, cedar and a mineral touch of graphite.
On the palate – a velvety texture, supported by lively acidity and chalky minerality, extends into a long, taut finish of sweet spices and elegant tannins.
Serve at cellar temperature in a large red wine glass to release its full complexity.
