Domaine de Villaine delivers with this Bouzeron 2023 an exceptional white wine, made exclusively from golden Aligoté grown on the clay-limestone slopes of the AOC Bouzeron in the Côte Chalonnaise. Perfect to enjoy young for its joyful and approachable character, it also reveals a fine ageing potential of up to 10 years, developing remarkable complexity and richness. To be served chilled (12°C), it pairs ideally with seafood, aged cheeses, or simply as an aperitif.
Grown on the clay-limestone slopes of Burgundy, this Bouzeron 2023 draws its characteristic minerality from the white marls of the Domaine de Villaine's plots. The 17 selected parcels, exposed on the best hillsides of the appellation, benefit from optimal sunlight and natural drainage, ensuring grapes of exceptional quality. Manual harvesting and slow pneumatic pressing preserve the integrity of the fruit, while fermentation in temperature-controlled vats or oak foudres refines its structure.
