The Bouzeron appellation, located in the Côte Chalonnaise in Burgundy, is a unique AOC Village, recognized since 1997 for its white wines exclusively produced from the Aligoté grape variety, making it the only communal appellation dedicated to this grape. Extending over approximately 60 hectares in the communes of Bouzeron and Chassey-le-Camp, it benefits from calcareous and marly soils, at an altitude of 270 to 350 meters, with ideal east and southeast exposures. Although no climat is classified as Premier Cru, renowned lieux-dits such as Les Clous, La Fortune, and La Digoine produce high-quality wines. Average annual production amounts to 3,000 hectoliters, or approximately 400,000 bottles, characterized by their freshness, minerality, and aromas of lemon, white flowers, and hazelnut.
