Sourced from the clay-limestone soils of Vougeot, the Clos Vougeot Grand Cru 2022 from Domaine Anne Gros is a Pinot Noir aged in oak barrels. Black fruits and spices intertwine with a mineral and silky structure. A wine for aging (10–15 years), it pairs beautifully with game, sauced meats, or aged cheeses.
Domaine Anne Gros
A family estate rooted in the heart of Vosne-Romanée, where exacting standards and respect for the terroir shape wines of rare elegance.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils of the Côte de Nuits, cradle of Burgundy's Grands Crus, where Pinot Noir expresses its full complexity.
- Winemaking: A precise and delicate approach, blending tradition and modernity to reveal the purity of the fruit and the minerality of great terroirs.
Tasting notes for Domaine Anne Gros Clos Vougeot Grand Cru 2022
In the glass: A deep purple robe of velvety density, heralding a wine that is both powerful and refined.
On the nose: Aromas of black cherry and ripe plum, lifted by spiced notes of pepper and clove, followed by a chalky mineral undertone in the background.
On the palate: A silky texture, carried by a lively acidity and a ripe tannic structure, giving way to a long, saline finish imbued with elegance.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Burgundy glass to fully appreciate its complexity.
Vintage 2022
A vintage marked by optimal ripeness, where concentration and freshness balance each other in perfect harmony.
- Aging potential: 15 to 20 years, to be stored under ideal conditions (stable temperature, controlled humidity).
