This Clos Vougeot 1989 Magnum from Domaine François Lamarche is a Grand Cru of Pinot Noir. It reveals notes of black cherry, spices and truffle, supported by fine tannins. Its palate, round and mineral, captivates with its balance. Ideal with lacquered duck or matured cheeses.
Domaine François Lamarche
A family estate rooted in the heart of Vosne-Romanée, where the Burgundian heritage has been passed down for more than two centuries.
- Terroir: clay-limestone soils of the Côte de Nuits, the cradle of the Grands Crus, where Pinot Noir expresses all its nobility.
- Vinification: a fruit-focused approach combining tradition and precision, producing wines of mineral elegance and great purity.

Tasting notes for the wine Domaine François Lamarche Clos Vougeot 1989 Magnum
To the eye: a deep garnet robe with tawny reflections, of silky texture and chalky density.
On the nose: aromas of black cherry, damp undergrowth, liquorice and black truffle, lifted by a saline touch and a hint of faded violet.
On the palate: a velvety attack, a lively and precise acidity, a limestone minerality carrying a long, spiced and slightly smoky finish.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its full complexity.
Vintage 1989
A generous and structured vintage, marked by a rare balance between fruit ripeness and mineral freshness.
- Aging potential: still at its peak, this wine can be cellared for 10 to 15 years under optimal conditions (cool cellar, away from light and vibrations).
