From the plateau of La Crau, the Vieux Télégraphe 2023 from the domaine du Vieux Télégraphe is a red Châteauneuf-du-Pape with aromas of ripe fruits and spices. Aged in large oak barrels, it combines silky tannins and minerality, perfect with game or rich dishes.
A family estate rooted on the mythical plateau of La Crau, where six generations of Bruniers shape wines of rare precision.
- Terroir: Stony and limestone soils of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, bathed in Mediterranean sunshine — a mineral and powerful signature.
- Winemaking: Aged in large oak barrels, with partial whole-cluster fermentation, for cuvées that are both tense and generous.
Tasting notes for the wine domaine du Vieux Télégraphe Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2023
Appearance: Deep purple robe with garnet highlights, of a silky density and crystalline brilliance.
On the nose: Aromas of ripe red berries — raspberry and wild blackberry — lifted by notes of garrigue, black pepper, and a saline touch recalling stones warmed by the sun.
On the palate: Velvety and fleshy texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality; the long and elegant finish leaves an impression of licorice and soft spices.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux-style red wine glass to release its full complexity.

A vintage marked by a return to balance after climatic uncertainties, combining ripeness and freshness with a promising structure.
- Aging potential: 15 to 20 years, to be kept in a cool cellar (12–14°C) away from light.
