The Vieux Télégraphe 2005, born on the rounded pebbles of La Crau in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, is a red wine aged in concrete vats and oak foudres. Its aromas of plum, blackberry and iodine combine with a fresh, mineral structure. Perfect for cellaring, it pairs with lamb or aged cheeses.
A family estate rooted on the plateau of La Crau, where time has shaped age-worthy wines for over a century.

Tasting notes for the wine Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe Vieux Télégraphe 2005
To the eye: A deep red robe with garnet highlights, dense and silky.
On the nose: First, fresh notes of iodine and seaweed, followed by peppery herbs, ripe plum and wild blackberry, before a saline touch reminiscent of sea spray.
On the palate: A broad and taut texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, with a long, saline finish where dark fruits and gentle spices intertwine.
Serve at 16-18°C in a Bordeaux-style red wine glass to release its full complexity.

A vintage defined by balance, where summer heat and cool nights forged a wine of harmonious structure and remarkable potential.
- Aging potential: 15 to 20 years, to be stored in a cool cellar (12-14°C) and kept away from light.
