A family estate rooted in the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin, Domaine Fourrier perpetuates a viticultural heritage where precision and respect for the terroir guide every cuvée.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils of the Côte de Nuits, cradle of the great Pinot Noirs of Burgundy, shaping wines of rare minerality and elegance.
- Vinification: Traditional methods – manual harvesting, indigenous yeasts, and aging in neutral barrels – to reveal the purity of the fruit and the tension of the terroir.
Tasting notes for the wine Domaine Fourrier Gevrey-Chambertin Aux Echezeaux Vieilles Vignes 2022
To the eye: Deep ruby robe with garnet reflections, of a silky texture and crystalline brilliance that announces its concentration.
On the nose: Freshness of griotte cherry and crunchy raspberry, evolving toward notes of violet and licorice, underscored by a saline and chalky touch characteristic of the great terroirs of Gevrey-Chambertin.
On the palate: Lively and precise attack, carried by a taut acidity and a silky tannic framework; the limestone minerality stretches into a long and saline finish, where ripe red fruits and soft spices intertwine.
Serve between 14 and 16°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full aromatic complexity.

A vintage marked by balanced ripeness and preserved freshness, offering wines of great precision and remarkable mineral tension.
