The Statera 2023 from Domaine de Bellevue, a Pinot Noir cuvée aged 14 months in barrels, reveals the granitic and quartzite soils of Gétigné. This Vin de France offers aromas of red fruits and flowers, a silky palate and a mineral finish. To be enjoyed from 2025 with game or aged cheeses.
Nestled in Gétigné, at the heart of the Loire Valley, this estate embodies the alliance of an exceptional terroir and biodynamic viticulture, driven by a quest for purity and authenticity.
- Terroir : Soils of Gabbro and white and pink quartz, shaping wines of vibrant minerality and rare elegance.
- Vinification : Natural methods – indigenous yeasts, minimal sulfur – to reveal the tension and depth of the Pinot Noir.
Tasting notes for the wine Domaine de Bellevue Jérôme Bretaudeau Statera 2023
To the eye – A garnet red robe with silky reflections, of crystalline density, as if carved from the quartz light of the terroir.
On the nose – First, a freshness of griotte cherry and wild raspberry, then notes of peony and faded rose, before a saline touch comes to underscore the granitic minerality.
On the palate – A velvety texture, carried by a lively and precise acidity, where chalky tannins and a juicy sap intertwine, leading to a long and digestible finish marked by a persistent salinity.
Serve at 16–17°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.
Vintage 2023
A vintage where freshness and maturity met in harmony, offering a perfect balance between tension and depth.
- Aging potential : To be enjoyed from 2025, with a peak between 2028 and 2033, and optimal cellaring until 2038+, away from light and temperature fluctuations.
