The Jérôme Bretaudeau Sui Generis 2022, a dry white wine from Gétigné, draws its originality from a Savagnin aged 24 months under a veil. Notes of candied fruits and vibrant minerality combine with a saline acidity. To be enjoyed from 2027 with lobster or pressed-curd cheeses.
Nestled in Gétigné, near Clisson, this family domaine embodies the boldness and precision of natural viticulture in the Loire Valley.
- Terroir: Granitic and schistose soils of the Muscadet, where biodynamics reveals a chalky minerality and a saline tension.
- Vinification: Aging under a veil, concrete eggs and amphoras for living wines, without artifice, where time sculpts complexity.
Tasting notes for the wine Jérôme Bretaudeau Sui Generis 2022
To the eye: Golden robe with amber highlights, dense and silky, like liquid honey catching the light.
On the nose: First, notes of candied citrus zest and baked apple, then accents of fresh walnut and toasted bread, before a salty touch reminiscent of sea spray.
On the palate: Smooth and vibrant texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality; the finish, long and taut, releases nuances of dried fruits and a hint of gentle spices.
Serve between 11 and 12°C, in a Burgundy-style white wine glass to reveal its depth.

- Aging potential: To be enjoyed from 2027, with a peak between 2032 and 2037, and optimal cellaring until 2042+ in a cool cellar away from light.
