Krug 2002 Magnum, a vintage champagne from Krug, comes from the chalky terroirs of Champagne’s Grand Cru vineyards. A blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier, it reveals aromas of ripe fruit, honey and toast, developed over 13 years on the lees. On the palate, its silky texture and lively minerality lead to a persistent finish. Enjoy through 2030; perfect with seafood or poultry.

Tasting notes for Krug 2002 Magnum
In the glass – A golden color with copper highlights, a silky texture and crystal clarity, promising a generous palate and mineral tension.
On the nose – A remarkably fresh bouquet mingling notes of candied citrus, white peach and acacia blossom before giving way to deeper accents of summer honey, toast and a saline touch reminiscent of sea spray.
On the palate – A lively, precise opening driven by taut acidity and chalky minerality, wrapped in a velvety texture; the remarkably long finish reveals hints of roasted hazelnut and lingering fruit and salinity.
Serve at 9–12 °C in a champagne flute or wide-bowled white wine glass to reveal its full complexity.

A year blessed with a remarkably harmonious climate, when sunshine and cool temperatures combined to yield perfectly ripe grapes with both concentration and elegance.
- Aging potential : Enjoy through 2030 and beyond, provided it is stored under optimal conditions (a stable temperature of 9–12 °C, away from light).
