The Krug Clos du Mesnil 2009, Blanc de Blancs from Clos du Mesnil, is a pure Chardonnay champagne. This 2009 vintage, aged in barrels, reveals aromas of citrus and a chalky minerality. On the palate, its silky texture and saline freshness make it a wine of great elegance. To be enjoyed until 2035.
A family house founded in 1843, Krug embodies boldness and precision, rooted at the heart of Champagne. Its heritage rests on absolute respect for each plot, celebrating the individuality of terroirs.
- Terroir : Le Clos du Mesnil, a walled enclosure of 1.84 hectares in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, where the chalky soils of the Côte des Blancs shape Chardonnays of rare minerality.
- Winemaking : Aged in oak barrels, controlled malolactic fermentation and meticulous blending to reveal the purity of the fruit and the tension of the terroir.
