Petit Chablis

The Petit Chablis appellation designates a dry white wine produced in the Chablis region, in Burgundy, France, exclusively from the Chardonnay grape. Situated at the entry level of the Chablis wine hierarchy, this appellation ranks below classic Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru and Chablis Grand Cru. The Petit Chablis vineyards extend over less calcareous soils, often on the outskirts of renowned hillsides, offering a lighter and fruitier white wine. This Chablis wine is distinguished by its freshness, vivacity and delicate aromas of white fruits, citrus, sometimes with floral notes and subtle minerality.
