All the wines of the appellation Saint Romain in Burgundy
The Saint-Romain appellation, located in Burgundy's Côte de Beaune region, is renowned for its white (Chardonnay) and red (Pinot Noir) wines. Nestled to the west of Beaune, near Auxey-Duresses and Meursault, this village appellation covers some 95 hectares of vineyards, perched between 280 and 400 meters above sea level. With no Premier Crus, it draws its strength from limestone and marl soils, producing fresh, elegant wines. The white wines of Saint-Romain, the majority (60% of production), seduce with their floral and mineral aromas, while the reds offer notes of red fruit and a refined structure. Less well known than its prestigious neighbors, the Saint-Romain appellation shines for its authenticity and excellent value for money, attracting Burgundy wine lovers.
