This vast 24-hectare estate (of which 22.6ha in Bourgogne Rouge and 1.4ha in Bourgogne Blanc), founded by Alexandre Tollot over a century ago, is located in the heart of Chorey les Beaune. It is now Nathalie Tollot, the 4th generation, who presides over the cellars of the Tollot Beaut estate. The Tollot Beaut estate has a strong heritage of old vines and offers wines of a modern style, focused on the brilliance of fruit, presenting a true expression of Pinot Noir, each one respecting its own identity.

The Tollot Beaut vineyard is farmed organically, with vines planted on predominantly clay soils with limestone outcrops. The Tollot Beaut estate, whose vines are located in the northern part of the Côte de Beaune, offers a wide range of terroirs across the following appellations: Aloxe Corton, Beaune including the 1ers crus Clos du Roi and Les Grèves, Chorey les Beaune, Corton Bressandes Grand Cru, Savigny les Beaune 1ers crus Champs Chevrey and Les Lavières. The Tollot Beaut wines are produced from viticulture that respects natural balances, without chemical fertilizers, with limited yields to retain only the finest grapes produced by the vines. The Tollot Beaut wines generally benefit from ageing for 16 to 18 months in barrels, of which 20% to 30% are new barrels for village and 1er cru appellations, rising to as much as 60% for Grand Crus such as Corton. The Corton Grand Cru 2015 offers a silkiness of the highest class, a superb concentration, while exuding breadth and sensuality. It is a great, complete and distinguished wine, whose purity and length will make it a Corton for the cellar that will improve over the next 10 to 12 years. The Aloxe Corton 2015 is fleshy, suave and refined, endowed with a beautiful chew of very ripe red fruits and a fresh finish, which lends it both breed and elegance. The Chorey les Beaune 2015 is produced from old vines and displays floral notes tinged with spice, with a clear, red-fruit-forward attack developing into a generous and charming profile. It should be enjoyed within 5 to 7 years. The Tollot Beaut estate enjoys an excellent reputation, and its wines — instantly recognisable by the distinctive shape of their bottles — are highly sought after by enthusiasts in search of very fine red wines from the Côte de Beaune.
