The Tollot Beaut vineyard is organically farmed, with vines planted in predominantly clay soils with limestone outcrops. Domaine Tollot Beaut, whose vines lie in the northern Côte de Beaune, offers wines from a wide range of terroirs across these appellations: Aloxe Corton; Beaune, including the 1ers crus Clos du Roi and Les Grèves; Chorey les Beaune; Corton Bressandes Grand Cru; and Savigny les Beaune 1ers crus Champs Chevrey and Les Lavières. Tollot Beaut wines come from viticulture that respects natural balance, without chemical fertilizers and with yields limited to retain only the best grapes. They are generally aged in barrels for 16 to 18 months. New barrels account for 20% to 30% for village appellations and premiers crus, rising to as much as 60% for grands crus such as Corton. Corton Grand Cru 2015 offers exceptional silkiness and superb concentration, along with breadth and sensuality. A complete, distinguished fine wine, its purity and length make it a Corton for aging that will improve over the next 10 to 12 years. Aloxe Corton 2015 is fleshy, supple and refined, with generous, very ripe red fruit and a fresh finish that lends it distinction and elegance. Made from old vines, Chorey les Beaune 2015 has floral notes touched with spice, a clear opening of red fruit and an appealing, charming character. It is best enjoyed within five to seven years. Domaine Tollot Beaut enjoys an excellent reputation, and its wines—instantly recognizable by their distinctive bottle shape—are sought after by enthusiasts looking for outstanding Côte de Beaune reds.
