Blagny, located in Burgundy between Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet, is an appellation dedicated to red wines made from Pinot Noir, covering approximately 7 hectares of vines on limestone and marl soils. At 300-350 meters altitude, it produces elegant, fresh wines with aromas of red and black fruits and pronounced minerality. Blagny has seven Premiers Crus: La Garenne, La Pièce Sous le Bois, Sous le Dos d'Âne, Sous Blagny, Le Clos du Haut de Blagny, Les Ravelles, Sur la Garenne, representing a major share of production, with strong aging potential. No white wine is produced under this appellation, unlike neighboring areas.
