Our Restaurants of the Month

Le Canon d'Or - Mulhouse (40 rue de Belfort)

A fabulous restaurant in Mulhouse: a cuisine between tradition and creation. A short menu with fresh produce, perfectly executed dishes: simple and delicious! But above all, a wine list with VERY INTERESTING prices! You can see for yourself or browse the photos taken of the wine list, but there are truly great deals on the table.

For example: Fonsalette 2006 €110, Les Tours blanc 2013 €32… And it's not just the Rhône Valley. The prices of Burgundy and Loire wines are equally interesting (Bonneau du Martray, Bruno Clair) and also in the Jura (Labet).

Hurry in to enjoy wines from great estates that are well worth the detour but are not always easy to find at reasonable prices on the market!

Chez Eugène - Paris Montmartre (17 Place du Tertre)

Discover this restaurant in the heart of Montmartre: an exception among the big tourist traps. The wine list (100% NATURAL) is seriously impressive! Let Julie and Jonas guide you through atypical estates from Ardèche and beyond. Adorable service, a terrace in summer, a large upstairs dining room… Enjoy a warm, convivial atmosphere and a varied menu ranging from razor clams in persillade to grilled côte de bœuf!

Café Saïgon - Saint-Émilion (21 Rue Guadet)

A lovely little restaurant nestled in the heart of Saint-Émilion! A very short menu for a delicious market cuisine: broth VS wok, adorable service, and a very effective teleportation to Vietnam. And above all, an incredible wine list!

A few examples of wine prices on the list! Faustine 2018 at €35; Maréchale blanc 2016 by Mugnier at €135; Domaine de la Romanée Conti Les Petits Monts 2018 at €800.

A superb restaurant with quite exceptional prices.

Le Boréal - Paris 18 (39 Rue Montcalm)

The brand-new restaurant from the Grand Nord group (La Traversée, Petite Fleur) in the 18th arrondissement of Paris. It offers outstanding bistronomy in a very pleasant setting, with a nostalgic atmosphere, an open kitchen, and large bay windows.

The menu is short, with fresh produce. It ranges from small sharing plates to starters, from land to sea for the main courses, and a few delicious revisited desserts round it off beautifully.

Swordfish kefta, followed by chicken vol-au-vent, finishing with a revisited lemon tart dessert.

The wine list is predominantly natural; fans of more traditional wines can turn to a single option (Entre Nous - Côtes du Rhône).

Adorable service, a view of the kitchen, and the passion of the chef who adds the finishing sauces from his copper pan at the last moment. A true delight!

The Glue Pot - Reims (49 place d'Erlon)

A Reims institution. Le Glue Pot and its magnificent wine list, especially in Champagne!

The food is quite hearty and well prepared, but you come above all to enjoy Champagne as an aperitif and discover other wines at reasonable prices.

Let Stéphane guide you through his restaurant, with an interior styled like a 1970s English pub, or out on the terrace during fine weather on a wide pedestrian avenue.

We were won over by the Champagne Suenen Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs, followed by a Côte de Beaune Les Pierres Blanches 2020 from Emmanuel Giboulot and a Clos Rougeard 2014! A true feast for the senses. Several of us had never tasted a cuvée from Clos Rougeard, the pope of the Loire — what a wonderful experience!

L'Arôme - Paris 8 (3 rue Saint-Philippe-du-Roule)

Pure bliss! A magnificent Michelin-starred gastronomic restaurant, thanks to the cuisine of Thomas Boullault.

Sustainable and committed cuisine — come treat yourself to a magnificent, unforgettable dinner (one your wallet won't forget either) at L'Arôme.

The cuisine revolves around magnificent jus and sauces, which remain one of the chef's and his brigade's main concerns.

For dinner, expect €140 for the arôme menu and €175 for the signature menu (both excluding drinks). You will be able to savor delicious dishes that change with the seasons. The promise of generous, expertly crafted jus and sauces is kept. Langoustines in sauce, melt-in-the-mouth lamb in sauce, a soufflé with a mandarin fondant center, sauced and fragrant amuse-bouches — it's an absolute delight: full of finesse and powerful flavors, always beautifully balanced.

Pibarnon and Weinbach accompanied us beautifully!

Our Wine Bars and Eating Cellars of the Month

Certo Faim et Soif - Brussels (48 rue Longue Vie, 1050 Ixelles)

A very lovely address in the heart of Brussels. A cozy and welcoming spot in white, blue, and dusty-rose hues. Fresh, perfectly executed Italian cuisine with a lovely wine list featuring great natural wine names such as: Pierre Overnoy, Domaine Ganevat, Nicolas Jacob, Domaine Labet, Patrick Bouju, Yves Peron, Bartolo Mascarello, Giuseppe Rinaldi, Les Bottes Rouges, Vino Di Anna, Petite Nature, Aurélien Lefort, Belluard, Didier Grappe and many others! You feel at ease and at home with a plate of great pasta or arancini and a lovely bottle of Gamay signed by Benoît Rosenberger: Rat de Cave 2021. The estate is based in Auvergne and this 100% Gamay cuvée is superb! A supple and deep wine, small red fruits lifted by black pepper and beautiful minerality, true to the Gamay style of Auvergne, all sprinkled with notes of undergrowth — an absolute pleasure!

Chez Jamat - Paris 9 (33 rue de Navarin)

Yet another bobo bistro with a natural menu and colorful small sharing plates.

Jacinthe and Matthieu (JaMat) have created a new spot, typical of the 9th arrondissement of Paris, with a short seasonal menu in tune with current trends.

A lovely natural wine list to keep up with the trend — and a treat for yourself!

Zincou - Paris 9 (50 rue Blanche)

A warm and friendly atmosphere at this little tapas bar. Aurélien set up this bar with his cousin and has since opened 2 others (Gegeor and Chonbou — for fans of verlan).

At Zincou (we'll test the others later), you'll find a fun cuisine of small sweet and savory sharing plates and an affordable wine list with entry-level offerings from several well-known estates such as Georges Descombes in Beaujolais, or Fabien Jouves, Marcel Deiss, Henri et Gilles Buisson, La Taille aux Loups (Jacky Blot), Domaine de l'Ecu, François Villard, Bernard Baudry, Dominique Laurent, Clos du Mont Olivet and many others.

On the menu, enjoy ravioles de Royan with delight, a beautifully creamy burrata, a fried Saint-Marcellin, sweet potato fries, as well as a mi-cuit, a pain perdu brioche, or a lemon-matcha cheesecake.

Perfect for a little evening out with friends!
