- Vinification: Aged in oak barrels, respecting natural balances to produce cuvées that are both structured and harmonious.
Tasting notes for Château Brane-Cantenac Brane Cantenac 2003
To the eye: Garnet red robe with tawny highlights, of a silky density slightly veiled by time.
On the nose: Aromas of dried blackcurrant, candied plum and ripe fig, lifted by notes of cedar, aged leather and a smoky touch, all underpinned by a discreet minerality.
On the palate: Velvety texture and melted tannins, where flavors of stewed black fruits mingle with a moderate yet precise acidity, and a long finish with earthy and spiced accents.
Serve between 16 and 18°C, in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.

A vintage marked by intense summer heat, offering generous and full-bodied wines where fruit ripeness combines with a supple structure.
