To the eye – A garnet red robe with brick-red highlights, of a silky texture slightly veiled by the years, betraying its maturity and balance.
On the nose – A bouquet where aromas of candied blackcurrant, blond tobacco and grilled herbaceous notes first intermingle, before giving way to deeper notes of aged leather, undergrowth and a saline touch reminiscent of the terroir's gravels.
On the palate – A velvety attack, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, stretching into a long and harmonious finish, where melted tannins and soft spices blend together.
Serve at 16-18°C in a Bordeaux glass to fully release its aromas.
