Château des Tours
A family estate rooted in Sarrians, at the heart of the Côtes-du-Rhône, where the viticultural heritage has been passed down since 1935.
- Terroir: clay-limestone soils and rolled pebbles of the Côtes-du-Rhône, bathed in Mediterranean sunshine, shaping wines of mineral depth and rare elegance.
- Vinification: traditional and respectful methods, favoring old Grenache vines for cuvées of remarkable purity and tension.
Tasting notes for the Château des Tours Côtes du Rhône 2022
To the eye: a deep ruby robe with garnet reflections, of a silky and luminous texture, heralding a generous and precise substance.
On the nose: aromas of wild blackberry and black cherry intertwine with notes of garrigue, thyme and a saline touch, evoking the Mediterranean winds and the estate's chalky soils.
On the palate: a velvety attack, carried by a lively acidity and chalky minerality, stretching into a long, taut finish where soft spices and ripe fruits intermingle.
Serve between 16 and 18°C in a Bordeaux-style red wine glass to reveal its full complexity.
2022 Vintage
A vintage marked by an ideal climatic balance, where the summer heat, tempered by cool nights, allowed the grapes to reach optimal maturity while preserving their freshness.
- Aging potential: 8 to 10 years; store in a cool place (12–14°C) away from light, to allow its aromas to blossom over time.
