A family estate rooted in the sun-drenched lands of Vaucluse, Château des Tours perpetuates a viticultural heritage where rigor and respect for the terroir shape each cuvée.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils and rounded pebbles of the southern Côtes du Rhône, where the summer heat is tempered by Mistral breezes, conferring a distinctive minerality to the wines.
- Vinification: Traditional methods and minimal interventions – aging in tanks to preserve the purity of the white grape varieties, with a constant pursuit of balance between freshness and complexity.
Tasting notes for the wine Château des Tours Côtes du Rhône Grande Réserve 2010 blanc
To the eye: Golden robe with pale reflections, of a crystalline clarity, where light dances on a silky and slightly unctuous texture.
On the nose: Aromas of white flowers (hawthorn, acacia) intertwine with notes of candied citrus (lemon zest, grapefruit), before giving way to a saline touch and a hint of acacia honey, evoking the surrounding garrigues.
On the palate: A lively and precise attack, carried by a taut acidity that stretches into a chalky minerality, while nuances of white-fleshed fruits (Williams pear, vineyard peach) blossom into a long and saline finish.
Serve at 10–12°C in a white wine glass of the "Rhône" type to reveal its full complexity.

A vintage marked by optimal maturity of the white grape varieties, where freshness and concentration combine to offer a wine of great elegance, already accessible but endowed with remarkable aging potential.
