The Château des Tours Côtes du Rhône Blanc 2005 draws its character from the stony terroirs of Sarrians. This white wine, blended from Grenache Blanc and Clairette, captivates with its notes of beeswax, dried apricot and saffron. Tasting notes for Château des Tours Côtes du Rhône Blanc 2005
In the glass: a golden robe with amber highlights, of a silky and slightly unctuous texture, betraying two decades of bottle maturation.
On the nose: aromas of beeswax and dried apricot intertwine with deeper notes of roasted hazelnut and saffron, lifted by a saline touch and a hint of chamomile — the hallmark of a mature Rhône white.
On the palate: a tender and precise attack, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, extending into a long and oxidative finish where gentle spices and a persistent saltiness intertwine.
Serve between 12 and 14°C in a medium-sized white wine glass to reveal its full complexity.
Vintage 2005
A classic vintage from the Southern Rhône, marked by a balance between summer warmth and autumnal freshness, yielding structured wines of great longevity.
- Aging potential: already at peak maturity, this wine can continue to improve for 5 to 10 years under optimal storage conditions (stable temperature, away from light).
