The Château des Tours Côtes du Rhône 2021, crafted from old-vine Grenache (65%) from Sarrians, reveals aromas of cherry, garrigue and pepper. Aged in neutral foudres, it combines vibrant freshness with silky tannins. Perfect with duck confit or a daube, it will keep for ten years.
Château des Tours
A family estate rooted in Sarrians, at the heart of the Côtes du Rhône, where the winemaking heritage has been passed down with exacting standards for generations.
- Terroir : Soils of red sand and rounded pebbles, typical of the appellation, shaping wines with a chalky minerality and a vibrant freshness.
- Vinification : Traditional methods, late harvesting and aging in neutral foudres to preserve the purity of the fruit and the tension of the grape varieties.
Tasting Notes for Château des Tours Côtes du Rhône 2021
- To the eye : Deep garnet robe with ruby highlights, of a silky texture and a crystalline brilliance that signals its precision.
- On the nose : Aromas of tangy red cherry and sun-warmed garrigue herbs, followed by peppery notes and a saline touch reminiscent of the Rhône winds.
- On the palate : A lively and taut attack, carried by elegant tannins and a chalky minerality, before a long, fresh finish where soft spices and ripe fruits intertwine.
Serve slightly cool (16°C) in a medium-sized red wine glass to reveal its full complexity.
