A family estate rooted in Ville-sur-Arce, where the exclusively owned Largillier vineyard reveals the soul of a unique terroir.
- Terroir : 2.25 hectares of Pinot Noir on Kimmeridgian limestone and clay, facing due south—a powerful mineral signature.
- Winemaking : An artisanal approach that respects old vines, producing precise, taut single-vineyard champagnes.
Tasting notes for Champagne Coessens Largillier Brut Rosé R22
- To the eye : A rosé hue with copper highlights, silky and luminous like a veil of mineral silk.
- On the nose : Initially lively, with notes of fresh raspberry and sour cherry, followed by deeper hints of cherry pit and licorice, lifted by a saline, chalky touch.
- On the palate : A full, fleshy opening supported by precise acidity and limestone minerality, extending into a long, elegant finish that brings together red fruit and gentle spices.
Serve between 8 and 10°C in a champagne flute or white wine glass to preserve its freshness and complexity.
2022 vintage
A vintage marked by generous ripeness, in which Pinot Noir expresses all its power and finesse.
- Aging potential : Enjoy now for its vibrant fruit, or keep for 5 to 8 years in a cool, dark cellar to see its mineral structure evolve.
