Champagne Coessens Largillier wines: buy at the best price
The Coessens family had owned 3.4 hectares of vines in Ville-sur-Arce in the Côte des Bar, south of Troyes in the Aube, for five generations. In 2006, Jérôme Coessens decided to launch his own Champagne brand, Coessens. He was far from inexperienced, having spent seven years as vineyard manager for a major Champagne group. This producer makes ripe, powerful, rounded and vinous champagnes that will appeal to enthusiasts who find the acidity of some cuvées less to their taste.
