The Champagne Roses de Jeanne Creux d'Enfer R21, a rare cuvée by Cédric Bouchard, comes from the Creux d'Enfer in the Côte des Bar. This Blanc de Noirs 2021, 100% Pinot Noir with no dosage, reveals white fruits and chalky minerality. Taut and saline, it pairs with shellfish or can be cellared for 5 to 8 years.
A family estate rooted in the Côte des Bar, Roses de Jeanne embodies the exacting standards of a terroir and the purity of artisanal winemaking.
- Terroir: Chalky soils of the lieu-dit Le Creux d'Enfer, in Champagne, where Pinot Noir reveals a unique minerality.
- Vinification: Single-plot method, no dosage, for age-worthy wines expressing the tension and precision of the vintage.
Tasting notes for the wine Roses de Jeanne Creux d'Enfer R21 2021
In the glass: Golden robe with pale highlights, of a silky clarity and a chalky density that announces its structure.
On the nose: Aromas of white flowers and yellow-fleshed fruits, followed by a saline touch and a stony minerality, like an echo of the limestone soils.
On the palate: Taut and vibrant texture, carried by a lively acidity and a long finish, where purity and mineral persistence intertwine.
Serve between 8 and 10°C in a Champagne flute to preserve its tension and brilliance.
