This 1er Cru Blanc de Blancs Les Terres Fines Extra Brut, born on the chalky hillsides of the Côte des Blancs, reveals a precise and mineral Chardonnay. Vinified in barrels, it combines citrus freshness, floral and saline notes. Perfect with seafood or poultry, it can be cellared until 2036.
A family estate rooted in the Côte des Blancs, where the heritage has been passed down since 1986 between a passion for terroir and artisanal excellence.
- Terroir : The chalky soils of Cuis and Chouilly, cradle of great Chardonnays, where minerality expresses itself with precision.
- Winemaking : An organic approach and a perpetual reserve for champagnes that are both lively and deep, aged in oak barrels.
Tasting notes for Dhondt-Grellet 1er Cru Blanc de Blancs Les Terres Fines Extra Brut
To the eye – A pale golden robe, of crystalline clarity, where the fine and persistent bubble dances with silky elegance.
On the nose – First, fresh notes of lime and hawthorn blossom, then more enveloping nuances of ripe pear and toasted brioche, all underlined by a saline and chalky touch.
On the palate – A texture that is both taut and velvety, where a lively acidity meets a chalky minerality, prolonged by a saline finish of remarkable length.
Serve at 10°C in a champagne flute to preserve its purity and tension.
Non-vintage
A cuvée blending the energy of the 2022 vintage and the complexity of a perpetual reserve, for a balance between freshness and depth.
- Aging potential : To be savored now, or cellared until 2036 under optimal conditions (stable temperature, away from light).
