To the eye – A garnet robe with tawny highlights, dense and brilliant, betraying a fully achieved maturity and a velvety texture.
On the nose – Aromas of candied blackcurrant, blonde tobacco, cedar and pencil shavings, lifted by a saline note and a hint of licorice.
On the palate – A silky attack, well-integrated yet present tannins, lively acidity and chalky minerality, with a long and harmonious finish on notes of dark fruits and soft spices.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to reveal its full complexity.
