To the eye: A garnet red robe with tawny highlights, dense and slightly veiled by time, revealing a silky texture and generous substance.
On the nose: Aromas of candied blackcurrant intertwine with notes of blond tobacco, cedar, and a hint of damp undergrowth, lifted by a saline and mineral touch.
On the palate: A frank and taut attack, where the tension of the fruit marries a velvety tannic structure, carried by a lively acidity and a long, chalky, and elegant finish.
Serve between 16 and 18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
