Tasting notes for Château Lynch-Bages Lynch Bages 2011
To the eye: A deep ruby robe, with a silky density and crystalline brilliance that heralds a generous substance.
On the nose: Aromas of wild blackberry and ripe blueberry, lifted by notes of cedar, graphite and a saline touch reminiscent of Atlantic breezes.
On the palate: Velvety texture, fine and fleshy tannins, lively acidity carrying a chalky minerality – a long and taut finish, where black fruits and gentle spices intertwine.
Serve at 16-18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
