A family estate rooted in the unspoiled landscapes of Arbois-Pupillin, where an artisanal winemaking heritage that respects the terroir lives on.
- Terroir: Vines grown on the Jura hillsides of Arbois-Pupillin, in the En Aspis vineyard site, shape wines of great purity and distinctive minerality.
- Winemaking: A natural approach faithful to the expression of Ploussard, in which the winemaker’s skill enhances the grape variety’s distinctive character.
Tasting notes for Domaine Renaud Bruyère & Adeline Houillon Arbois Pupillin Ploussard En Aspis 2020
In the glass: A pale red color with ruby highlights, silky and luminous, revealing the delicacy of Ploussard.
On the nose: Aromas of fresh sour cherry, wild raspberry, and peony intertwine, accompanied by a saline touch and the chalky minerality characteristic of Jura terroirs.
On the palate: Lively and precise, with bright acidity and a velvety texture, leading to a long, elegant finish marked by subtle mineral bitterness.
Serve at 14–16°C in a medium-sized red wine glass to appreciate its full finesse.
