Immerse yourself in the world of J.L. Vergnon Murmure 1er Cru Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature, a refined champagne from a family estate in Mesnil-sur-Oger, in the heart of the Côte des Blancs. For five generations, J.L. Vergnon has been celebrating Chardonnay on 7 hectares of vines, including Premier Cru plots in Vertus and Villeneuve, cultivated using sustainable viticulture (HVE 3).
This Blanc de Blancs, made from 100% Chardonnay, comes from a chalky terroir that lends a distinctive minerality. Vinification in stainless steel vats, with spontaneous fermentation and 36 months' ageing on lees, with no dosage (0 g/l), preserves the wine's purity and tension.
To the eye, its pale yellow color sparkles with fine bubbles. On the nose, tasting notes reveal fresh aromas of lemon, green apple and dried herbs, underlined by a chalky minerality. On the palate, the attack is lively, offering a light texture, sharp acidity and a saline finish, evoking citrus zest. Ideal with oysters or an aperitif, this Murmure embodies the raw elegance and authenticity of J.L. Vergnon's savoir-faire.
