To the eye: A deep ruby robe with garnet highlights, of a silky and luminous texture, like liquid velvet.
On the nose: First, fresh aromas of rose petals and morello cherry, then deeper notes of wild blackberry, soft spices and a mineral touch reminiscent of the damp chalk of the hillsides.
On the palate: A velvety attack, carried by a lively acidity and mineral tension, with chalky, fine-grained tannins and a saline, long and persistent finish.
Serve at 16-18°C in a Burgundy glass to fully release its complexity.
