The Jacques Frédéric Mugnier Musigny 2018, Grand Cru de Bourgogne, is born on the chalky soils of Musigny. This Pinot Noir, with notes of red fruits and spices, is aged 18 months in barrels. Its palate, silky and mineral, captivates with its finesse. To enjoy until 2035 with refined dishes.
Domaine Jacques Frédéric Mugnier
A family estate rooted at the heart of the Côte de Nuits, where the Burgundian heritage is passed down with quiet exacting standards.
- Terroir: 1.14 hectares of century-old vines on the chalky slopes of the Grand Cru Musigny, between limestone marls and rocky soils, at the ideal altitude of 280 metres.
- Vinification: Whole-bunch destemming, fermentation in open wooden vats and 18 months' ageing in barrels for a pure and precise expression of Pinot Noir.

To the eye – A deep ruby robe with garnet reflections, of silky density and crystalline clarity.
On the nose – First aromas of black cherry and fresh violet, followed by nuances of liquorice, damp undergrowth and a saline touch reminiscent of the limestone soils of the terroir.
On the palate – A velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, stretching into a long, taut finish where gentle spices and ripe fruits intertwine.
Serve at 14–16°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.

A generous yet balanced vintage, in which the ripeness of the grapes combines with the mineral freshness characteristic of Musigny.
