Tasting notes for Château L'Église-Clinet Eglise Clinet 2004
To the eye: A garnet red robe with tawny highlights, dense and silky, revealing a generous substance and beautiful maturity.
On the nose: Aromas of candied black cherries, fresh truffle, faded violet and a hint of roasted cocoa, carried by a subtle chalky minerality.
On the palate: A velvety texture, supported by a lively acidity and an elegant tannic structure, giving way to a long, saline finish, marked by notes of liquorice and soft spices.
Serve at 16-18°C in a Bordeaux glass to fully release its aromas.
