The Pétrus 1988 from Petrus, born from the black clays of Pomerol, embodies the excellence of Merlot. Aged in new barrels, it captivates with its notes of dark fruits, truffle and spices, a velvety palate and a subtle minerality. To be savoured until 2030 alongside a hare stew or a shoulder of lamb.
Nestled at the heart of Pomerol, Pétrus embodies the excellence of a unique terroir and a family winemaking heritage. For generations, this estate has cultivated the art of revealing the quintessence of its soil.
- Terroir: 11.5 hectares of blue clay, the signature of Pomerol, imparting a mineral depth and unmatched structure to the wines.
- Winemaking: Aging in new barrels and hand harvesting for a pure expression of Merlot, combining power and elegance.
