Marthe Henry Hautes Côtes de Beaune 2022 blanc, from the limestone soils of the Hautes Côtes. This Chardonnay, aged in oak barrels, offers notes of citrus, flint and white flowers. Lively and silky palate, with a mineral and taut finish. Perfect with seafood or fresh cheeses, to be enjoyed today or within 2–4 years.
A family estate nestled in the heights of the Côte de Beaune, where the vine converses with the Burgundian sky.
- Terroir: Limestone and marl soils of the Hautes Côtes de Beaune, where altitude and freshness preserve the tension of the Chardonnay.
- Winemaking: Natural fermentation, aged in old oak barrels for a silky structure and a pure expression of the grape variety.
To the eye: Pale golden robe with green highlights, of a crystalline clarity and a slightly unctuous texture.
On the nose: Aromas of candied lemon, hawthorn blossom and flint, lifted by a saline touch and a hint of acacia honey.
On the palate: Lively and precise attack, supported by a taut acidity and a chalky minerality, leading to a long and elegant finish.
Serve between 10 and 12°C in a Burgundy glass to release all its complexity.
A vintage defined by early ripeness and preserved freshness, ideal for white Burgundy wines.
- Ageing potential: To be enjoyed until 2028, to be stored in a cool place away from light.
