Marthe Henry Savigny-lès-Beaune Les Guettottes 2022, born on the clay-limestone hillsides. This Pinot Noir, vinified as whole clusters and aged in used barrels, reveals cherry and spices. Lively and mineral, it offers a silky texture and fine tannins. Ideal with meats or cheeses, to enjoy now or within 3 to 5 years.
A family estate rooted in Burgundy, where the legacy of Pierre Boillot is perpetuated with a contemporary touch.
- Terroir: 2.5 hectares of vines in the Côte de Beaune, whose clay-limestone soils of Savigny-lès-Beaune have been shaped by centuries of Burgundian climate – a balance between freshness and depth.
- Winemaking: whole clusters, aging in used barrels to preserve the purity of the Pinot Noir, with minimal intervention.
- To the eye: ruby robe with garnet highlights, of a silky and luminous texture.
- On the nose: morello cherry, peony, damp undergrowth, then a hint of liquorice and a saline touch on the finish.
- On the palate: lively and precise attack, chalky tannins, taut acidity carrying a stony minerality, long and saline finish.
Serve between 14 and 16°C, in a Burgundy glass to release its aromas.
A vintage marked by an early ripeness and a concentrated fruitiness, while retaining a beautiful freshness.
- Aging potential: to be enjoyed until 2030, kept under optimal conditions (stable temperature, away from light).
