This blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot flourishes on a terroir of gravel and clay, in a temperate climate. The 1983 vintage, shaped by a hot summer, offers remarkable richness. Aged 22 months in new oak barrels, it reveals a complex structure. On tasting, it reveals aromas of blackcurrant, plum, tobacco and smoky notes, with a touch of minerality. Its velvety texture and robust tannins lead to a persistent finish.
