Born on the limestone slopes of Champ Gain, the Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru 2022 by Pierre Morey is a barrel-aged Chardonnay. Its aromas of flowers and citrus lead to a mineral, taut palate. Perfect with shellfish, to enjoy now or through 2030.
Heir to a Burgundian winemaking tradition dating back to 1793, Domaine Pierre Morey embodies the alliance between an exceptional terroir and a biodynamic philosophy.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils of Puligny-Montrachet, where Premier Crus such as Champ Gain reveal a chalky minerality and a distinctive elegance.
- Vinification: Fermentation in oak barrels with indigenous yeasts, patient aging to preserve the purity and tension of the Chardonnay.
