The François Carillon Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Perrières 2023, a Chardonnay aged in barrels, reveals aromas of white fruits and a saline minerality. Its palate, taut and silky, balances freshness and roundness. To be enjoyed from 2028 with shellfish or noble fish.
A family heritage since the 16th century, Domaine François Carillon is rooted in the heart of Puligny-Montrachet, where Chardonnay reveals its full nobility.
- Terroir: 15 hectares spread across Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet and Saint-Aubin, where clay-limestone soils and ideal exposures shape wines of mineral precision.
- Vinification: A fruit-respectful approach, ageing in barrels for a pure expression and an elegant tension, without artifice.
Eye: Pale golden robe, of silky clarity, animated by a light green shimmer.
Nose: White flowers and candied citrus intertwine with notes of flint and toasted hazelnut, carried by a saline touch that evokes the breezes of the Côte.
Palate: Unctuous yet taut texture, where a lively acidity and chalky minerality draw out a long, saline finish marked by a persistent elegance.
Serve between 12 and 14°C in a Burgundy glass to release its aromas.
A vintage where freshness and concentration balance each other with rare harmony, reflecting the precision of the Les Perrières terroir.
- Ageing potential: To be enjoyed between 2028 and 2035, under cool and stable cellar conditions (12–14°C, controlled humidity).
