The Château Pontet-Canet 2021, a 5th Grand Cru of Pauillac, is born on clay-limestone gravel soils farmed biodynamically. Aged in barrels and amphorae, it offers dark fruits, spices and a mineral touch. Its silky, fresh palate promises 10 to 15 years of aging. Ideal with red meats and game.

Tasting notes for Château Pontet-Canet 2021
To the eye – A deep ruby red robe with garnet highlights, dense and silky, revealing a generous substance and beautiful tension.
On the nose – Aromas of fresh blackcurrant, wild blackberry and violet, followed by a hint of cedar and gentle spices, all underlined by a subtle chalky salinity.
On the palate – A precise and elegant attack, where the freshness of the fruit mingles with velvety tannins and a persistent minerality, leading to a long and vibrant finish.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to unlock its full expression.
