This Pauillac 1975, Second Grand Cru Classé, draws its character from the gravelly soils of Bordeaux. With notes of blackberry, tobacco and a velvety palate, it combines power and minerality. Ideal with red meat or aged cheeses.
An emblematic estate of Pauillac, rooted in the history of the Grands Crus Classés of Bordeaux, where exacting standards and terroir shape wines of rare elegance.
- Terroir: Gravelly and clay-limestone soils of Pauillac, lending the wines a powerful structure and a distinctive minerality.
- Vinification: A blend dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, aged with precision to reveal the depth and complexity of the vintage.
To the eye: Garnet red robe with tawny highlights, of silky density and a brilliance subtly softened by the years.
On the nose: Aromas of candied blackcurrant, cedar, blond tobacco and undergrowth, lifted by a hint of graphite and a characteristic saline note of the great Pauillacs.
On the palate: Velvety and taut texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, with a long and harmonious finish where soft spices and dark fruits intertwine.
Serve at 16-18°C in a Bordeaux glass to fully release its bouquet.
