Nestled in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, this estate embodies the rare alliance between Burgundian heritage and biodynamic rigor. A quest for purity where every gesture honors the terroir.
- Terroir : The clay-limestone soils of Nuits-Saint-Georges, shaped by centuries of continental climate, impart a chalky minerality and a characteristic tension to the wines.
- Winemaking : A natural approach, with spontaneous fermentations and aging in oak barrels to reveal the soul of the old vines without artifice.
Tasting notes for the wine Domaine Prieuré Roch Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Vieilles Vignes 2022
- To the eye : A deep ruby robe with garnet reflections, of a silky density that already announces the concentration of the old vines.
- On the nose : First aromas of black cherry and morello cherry, followed by notes of cinnamon and liquorice, before a hint of flint underlines the minerality of the terroir.
- On the palate : A velvety texture, driven by a lively acidity and a subtle saltiness, while the melting tannins stretch into a spiced and persistent finish.
Best served between 14 and 16°C, in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.

A vintage marked by early ripeness and remarkable concentration, where cool nights preserved the balance and tension of the Pinot Noir.
- Aging potential : To be enjoyed from 2028, with a peak between 2035 and 2048, to be kept in a cool cellar (12–14°C) away from light.
