From the Pinot Noir of the lieu-dit Le Cloud, the Prieuré Roch Vin de France Rouge 2023 is a biodynamic wine with aromas of vibrant red fruits and an elegant texture. Fermented with whole clusters, it combines freshness and minerality. Ideal with poultry, to be enjoyed now or within 2 to 4 years.
Domaine Prieuré Roch
Nestled in the heart of Burgundy, this family estate embodies a bold viticultural heritage, where tradition and innovation are in harmonious dialogue.
- Terroir: Limestone and clay-limestone soils of Nuits-Saint-Georges and Ladoix, shaping wines of chalky minerality and rare elegance.
- Winemaking: Biodynamic approach, whole-cluster fermentation and sulfite-free vinification to preserve the purity of the fruit.
Tasting notes for Domaine Prieuré Roch Vin de France 2023 red
In the glass: A cherry red robe of crystalline clarity, animated by silky highlights that dance in the light.
On the nose: A fresh and precise bouquet, where tart griotte cherry, wild raspberry, a touch of delicate violet and a subtle saline note recalling the limestone soils of the terroir intertwine.
On the palate: A velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and taut minerality, stretching into a long, saline finish where the chalky imprint of the plots can be sensed.
Serve at 14–16°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full aromatic complexity.
Vintage 2023
A vintage marked by vibrant freshness, where the balance between fruit and mineral tension is expressed with rare precision.
- Aging potential: To be enjoyed now or cellared for 5 to 8 years under optimal conditions (stable temperature, away from light).
