Located in Premeaux-Prissey, in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, the Domaine de la Vougeraie has established itself over a quarter of a century as one of the major names in contemporary Burgundy. Founded in 1999 from the union of the finest terroirs assembled by the Boisset family since 1964, it now encompasses around forty hectares spread across nearly seventy parcels and some thirty appellations, two-thirds in the Côte de Nuits and one-third in the Côte de Beaune. Certified in organic farming and managed using biodynamic methods, the domaine holds three rare monopoles, including the legendary Clos Blanc de Vougeot, and nine grand crus among the most prestigious of the Côte d'Or.

Red wines are aged for between 15 and 18 months, compared to 12 to 18 months for white wines. The domaine de la Vougeraie holds two monopoles: the Clos du Prieuré (in both white and red) and the very rare Clos Blanc de Vougeot, one of the finest premier cru whites of the Côte de Nuits. The domaine de la Vougeraie also holds the following grand crus: Bonnes Mares, Charmes-Chambertin Les Mazoyères, Clos de Vougeot, Corton Le Clos du Roi and Corton-Charlemagne Le Charlemagne and Le Musigny. The latter being without doubt the most sought-after of all.
