The commitment of the Boisset family to make great wines in Burgundy
Owned by the Boisset family, the Domaine de la Vougeraie – or Vougeraie Estate, was named after the river Vouge that flows adjacent to Clos Vougeot in the heart of the Côte de Nuits. The domaine Vougeraie covers 29 hectares and is farmed according to biodynamic principles. Around 2005, the domaine Vougeraie changed its style from heavy extraction to a much lighter style, much to the delight of many wine lovers. The burgundy reds are barrel aged from 15 to 18 months and 12 to 18 months for the Burgundy whites. The Domaine de la Vougeraie owns two monopoles : "Le Clos du Prieuré" (both in white and red) and the very rare "Clos Blanc de Vougeot", one of the finest white first growths of the Côte de Nuits. Their Grand cru holds are vast: Bonnes Mares, Charmes Chambertin, Les Mazoyères, Clos de Vougeot, Corton 'Le Clos du Roi' and Corton Charlemagne 'Le Charlemagne' and last, but not least, the rare and venerable Musigny.
For 10 years, Vins & Millésimes has offered the finest aged wines and grands crus, all in stock and ready for fast delivery! Discover our selection of bottles and magnums of the Domaine de la Vougeraie available for purchase today.
