The history of Maison Salon dates back to the early twentieth century, when Eugène-Aimé Salon began producing a few bottles of Champagne for his personal consumption and his friends, becoming the forerunner of Blanc de Blancs. Given the success encountered, Maison Salon officially established itself on the market in 1920, and it was in 1928 that the decision to produce only vintage Champagne in the greatest years was made: the legend of Salon had begun. Enthusiasts eagerly await the release of the next vintage of this grand cru Champagne, aged a minimum of ten years in the cellar. These cuvées are unique, both in their identity and in the finesse, elegance, and purity experienced during tasting. Upon the passing of Eugène-Aimé Salon, his ideas, creativity, and precision were upheld by the generations that followed, offering the purest and most hedonistic expression of the Côte des Blancs. Since 1988, Maison Salon has been united with Maison Delamotte, under the direction of the Laurent Perrier Group, which perpetuates the uniqueness of this great Champagne present at every Michelin-starred table.
