Tasting notes for the wine Adrien Renoir Verzy Grand Cru Les Vignes Goisses 2020
To the eye: Golden robe with pale highlights, of a fine and persistent texture, like a veil of liquid silk.
On the nose: Aromas of white flowers and crunchy apple, followed by a hint of toasted brioche and fresh almond, all lifted by a subtle mineral salinity.
On the palate: A lively and precise attack, carried by a taut acidity and a chalky minerality, before a long and saline finish where notes of dried fruits and a silky elegance intertwine.
Serve at 8–10 °C in a champagne flute to preserve its freshness and complexity.
Vintage 2020
A vintage marked by balanced ripeness, offering wines of great tension and assertive minerality.
- Aging potential: 8 to 12 years, to be stored in cool and stable conditions, away from light.
