The Aurélien Suenen Oiry Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs, born from the chalky terroirs of Oiry, is a pure Chardonnay extra-brut champagne. Notes of citrus and white flowers, mineral and taut palate. Perfect with seafood or to keep for 5 to 8 years.
A family estate rooted in the Côte des Blancs, where Chardonnay expresses itself with a rare precision, shaped by chalky soils and artisanal know-how.
- Terroir : The vines, planted on the slopes of Oiry, bathe in a subsoil of Campanian chalk, the signature of the grands crus of Champagne, producing wines of a vibrant minerality.
- Vinification : Aging in old barrels and stainless steel tanks, complete malolactic fermentation, and extended aging on lees for a pure and taut expression of the terroir.
Tasting notes for the wine Aurélien Suenen Oiry Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs
- On the eye : A pale gold robe with green highlights, of a crystalline clarity, traversed by a stream of fine and persistent bubbles, announcing a silky texture.
- On the nose : First, lively aromas of lime and tart apple, followed by a touch of ripe Williams pear, before opening up to a saline note and a discreet fresh almond, signature of a chalky terroir.
- On the palate : A precise and mineral attack, carried by a lively acidity and an elegant tension, giving way to a chalky texture and a long finish, marked by a delicate salinity and an aromatic persistence.
Serve between 8 and 10°C in a narrow champagne flute to preserve the freshness and fineness of the bubbles.

A vintage marked by balanced ripeness, where the mineral freshness of the Oiry terroir expresses itself with a remarkable purity, supported by a well-present acidity.
- Aging potential : Best kept 5 to 8 years in a cool cellar, away from light, to allow its complexity and tension to blossom.
