The Chambertin Clos de Bèze Grand Cru 2021 from Domaine Armand Rousseau is born from the limestone soils of Gevrey-Chambertin. This Pinot Noir, aged in oak barrels, offers aromas of bright red fruits and a mineral touch. On the palate, its silky texture and saline freshness are captivating. Ideal from 2030 with braised meats.

Nestled in the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin, this family estate has embodied Burgundian excellence for nearly a century, combining tradition and precision in the art of the vine.
- Terroir : East-south-east facing limestone slopes, where the clay-limestone soils of the Bathonian sculpt Pinot Noirs of rare minerality, particularly in the Grand Crus of the Côte de Nuits.
- Vinification : A meticulous approach – partial whole clusters, ageing in French oak barrels – for wines of taut elegance and silky depth.
Tasting notes for Domaine Armand Rousseau Chambertin Clos de Bèze 2021
To the eye – A deep ruby robe with garnet highlights, of a silky density and crystalline brilliance, like a gleam of precious stone in the light.
On the nose – First a freshness of morello cherry and wild raspberry, then deeper notes of faded rose, liquorice and damp undergrowth, all lifted by a saline and chalky touch, the signature of the great limestone terroirs.
On the palate – A velvety yet taut texture, where the lively acidity and chalky minerality envelop tannins of silky finesse, before a long and saline finish, carried by aromas of ripe red fruits and gentle spices.
Serve between 14 and 16°C, in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.
